Palm fruit sterilizing station
FFB transported by scraper conveyer fall into sterilizing tank, make FFB soft,get more oil yield. sterilizing time 90~120mins, temperature 130~145℃.Sterilizer can be design as owner’s requirement.horizontal sterilizer or vertical sterilizer for our customer.
Palm fruit threshing station
In the threshing process of palm oil mill plant. The fruitlets are separated from the whole bunches by use of stripper machine. Threshing is generally mechanical in large palm oil mill by use of thresher, which rotates or vibrates to remove the fruits from the bunch.
Palm fruit digesting & pressing station:
Before extracting oil, the palm fruits need to be crushed in digester machines. To augment oil yield, the fruit pulp is also warmed in this process. The mesocarp and nuts can be squeezed together in palm oil making/pressing machine. The pulp is then pressed, which bursts the oil-containing cells, releasing the palm oil.
Palm oil clarification station:
A mixture of oil, water, and solids from the bunch fibres is delivered from the palm oil digesting & pressing station to a clarification tank of palm oil mill equipment machinery. In the conventional process, separation of the oil from the rest of the liquor is achieved by settling tanks based on gravity. The mixture containing the crude oil is diluted with hot water to reduce its viscosity. A vibrating screen helps remove some of the solids.
Palm kernel recovery section:
After palm oil expelling, the solids parts discharged from the screw press is mixture of fiber and nuts. In palm kernel recovery plant, the nuts and fiber are separated by physical means. The nuts are sent to palm kernel crushing and solvent extraction plant to make palm kernel oil, while the fiber is used as biomass fuel in boiler on-site.
