During palm kernel cracker and shell separator working process, the most important step is palm kernel cracking process and palm kernel shell separating process.The detailed working principle is as follows:

The first step is to grade nuts of different size.  If the size of palm nuts is far from the same, we will find that the small size nuts are still leaved to be further cracked, while the big size nuts are excessively cracked and the kernel is damaged. All of these will impact the speed of separating and the final productivity.

The second step is to crack the nuts by palm kernel cracker machine. It use the beat stick which on the rotor to beat the palm nuts. After that, the palm nuts will be broken to the mixture of kernel and shells.

The third step is separate the palm kernel and shell by cyclone separator. After palm nut cracking process, the mixture of kernel and shells will go to the air separator. The shells will be taken away by air cyclone, and the kernel will drop down.

After cracking & separating process, the kernel and shell separation rate can reach around 90-95%. But you also need to know is that the kernel and shell separation rate also be influenced by the raw materials conditions, such as the moisture, the freshness, the size difference and so on. If you want to get the higher separating rate, pls choose the raw materials with better conditions.
